COURT SPONSORSHIP WANTED

It’s come time again where I have a couple of courts available for sponsorship.  If you own a business or your work business is looking for some exposure at the centre please talk to Mel, Pete or Honor at the bar.

END OF SEASONS FINALS

Once again the season is coming to a close…. I am going to run semi-finals the week beginning Monday 6 September 2010, then hold grand final night on Saturday 11 September 2010 ….. This gives your teams a few more weeks to get some practice in and make sure all final players are qualified, remember each player playing the semi-finals and/or grand final MUST play a minimum of 5 weeks (ie. 10 games) in the season….. As per usual we will get straight back into the new season on Monday 13 September 2010… Qualifying divisions for finals is on the back.

AUSSIE TITLES

I have now available for each of our 13 teams a team pack which has all the forms you need to fill out and return to me asap.

ISSUES WITH UNATTENDED CHILDREN

It has come to my attention that there has been an increase in unattended children roaming the centre while their parents play volleyball.  Personally I think it is fantastic that parents can find a sport to bring their children along to and they are comfortable while playing themselves knowing that their kids are having fun, it is also a concern seeing kids run riot up and down the centre and in the carpark.  So just a quick reminder to parents to maybe have a chat to their kids to be careful and to keep safe while still having their fun.  In relation to children we are concerned about the number of skate board/rip sticks that are being brought to volleyball.  Due to our insurance policy these toys are NOT to be brought to the centre anymore under any circumstances.  J

BAR PRICE INCREASE

It has come time again to increase bar prices….. So just a little warning guys, as per usual bar prices will slightly increase from the new season on Monday 13 September 2010…. Sorry for any inconvenience….
